Donation Opportunities

Donations from individuals are the mainstay of educational and charitable organizations throughout the U.S. If you are a potential donor looking for an organization whose purpose is to help youth through the arts, we ask that you consider FLYworks.

Non-Profit Organization
FLYworks is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization whose IRS exempt status was received in December 1999. Donations are tax deductable per the IRS code.

Ways to Further the FLYworks Mission
There are many ways to assist FLYworks. Below is a list of suggestions. FLYworks is open to other ideas that a donor may have.

  • Donations for general support give FLYworks permission to apply donated funds as necessary to carry out its work.
  • Tuition scholarship donations designate donated funds for paying monthly tuition fees for members of FLY KiDS and FLY Crew who are in need of financial assistance.
  • Camp scholarship donations are used for members of FLY KiDS and FLY Crew or other young dancers needing financial assistance to attend FLYworks dance camps.
  • Costume donations are used for buying or making performance costumes.
  • Concert donations underwrite the expense of a FLYworks produced concert.
  • Matching funds donations are used for grants requiring dollar for dollar matching funds.
  • School workshop donations enable public school PE and dance teachers to have a FLYworks dance workshop.
  • Equipment donations are used to buy essential equipment.
  • Trip donations are used to underwrite the expense of trips by FLYworks performing groups.
  • Donations for the production of FLYworks educational materials pay for training videos and handouts.
